Great success for the first European edition of the World Happiness Summit® (WOHASU®)

The first European edition of the World Happiness Summit (WOHASU) held in Como, Italy, was a resounding success, bringing together over 860 attendees from around the world and attracting more than 1,000 online participants. The three-day event featured renowned experts in the field of happiness and wellbeing, including scientists, psychologists, economists, advocates, and practitioners, who discussed various aspects of the science of happiness. A highlight of the Summit was the launch of the Como Wellbeing Manifesto, which has already garnered over 700 signatures, including prominent figures like Professor Lord Richard Layard and CEO of DHL Express Europe, Alberto Nobis. The Manifesto calls for governments, businesses, schools, and individuals to prioritize wellbeing and pursue policies and practices that enhance overall happiness and reduce misery. The event’s organizers expressed their gratitude to partners, sponsors, speakers, coaches, and volunteers for making the Summit a resounding success and emphasized the importance of placing wellbeing at the forefront of all aspects of life.
